LC coach Mark Tippett commented:

"We were a step slow on defense and very inconsistent from behind the serving line in the first match against Wabaunsee. Despite the fact we were not very sharp early in the game, we managed to make things interesting in sets two and three.

"After a long layoff we came out and played well against Harper, but not well enough to push the match to a fifth set.

"We had to work hard to beat IVCC, but the win stopped the day from becoming a total loss. Our blocking was much better and we found our rhythm on offense, which was missing during the first half of the day."
