Red Lions win soccer game

[September 20, 2010]  The Red Lions women's soccer team of Lincoln Christian University won their first game of the season when they defeated Grace Bible College 5-1 Saturday.

HardwareLCU got a big game from Hannah Cox, who scored a hat trick three goals, while Elizabeth Langley and Alison Delong each added one goal. Goalkeeper Ashlan Rose had eight saves.

The Red Lions are now 1-6 for the year.

The women will be in action again when they entertain MacMurray College at 2 p.m. Thursday.
