Middletown man's death under investigation

[September 21, 2010]  The Logan County coroner, Robert Thomas, has announced that James E. Rogers, 76, of Middletown, was pronounced dead at 5:45 p.m. Saturday in his home.

The cause of death is under investigation. A certified pathologist was to perform the autopsy on Monday in Springfield. The preliminary findings may not be released due to the investigation.

Funeral arrangements have been made with Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
