[September 23, 2010]  Lincoln Christian University welcomes 2009 graduate Claudia Muñoz, author of "Because I'm Human," back to campus today (Thursday). The public is invited to attend an on-campus book discussion in The Warehouse from 3 to 5 p.m. Muñoz will share her many experiences in missions including her cross-cultural lifestyle, finding her identity and calling, and writing her book.

"'Because I'm Human' talks not only of the experiences that took me to understand what it means to find my identity in the Kingdom of God, but how valuable mankind is to God; because He so loved the world that He sent His only son Jesus. Through Jesus I have been able to live this adventure of knowing God and loving Him. Also to experience the power and authority Jesus gives his followers to, through faith, move mountains." -- Muñoz

Claudia Muñoz grew up in Chile and later moved to the United States to finish her education at Lincoln Christian University. She graduated from LCU with a bachelor's degree in intercultural studies in 2009. She also received a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Muñoz is currently living in the United States and plans to move to Italy in the near future to work with a missions organization.

The Warehouse Coffeeshop is located on the LCU campus at 100 Campus View Drive, off Route 10 on the east side of Lincoln, and serves Starbucks coffees.
