[September 24, 2010]  The Logan County clerk's office has issued the following voter registration notice for the Nov. 2 election:

REGISTRATION NOTICE
FOR THE NOVEMBER 2, 2010
GENERAL ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that registration for the General Election on November 2, 2010 will close on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 (With the exception of grace period registration beginning October 6, 2010, and ending October 26, 2010) in the office of the Logan County Clerk.

All persons who are or will be 18 on or before November 2, 2010, may register in person at the Logan County Clerk's Office, Room 20, Logan County Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois. You may also register or change your address with your precinct committeeman, local library, or Driver's License Facility when receiving services. It is necessary to provide two forms of identification when registering to vote. One form must contain your current address.

If you have moved from the address given on your voter registration card, you may transfer your address by telephone, mail, or in person at the office of the County Clerk. (Telephone number 732-4148 or Logan County Clerk, P.O. Box #278, Room 20, Courthouse, Lincoln, Il. 62656)

If you were formerly registered in another county or state, you must re-register.
The last day to register to vote for the General Primary Election is October 5, 2010.
