[September 25, 2010]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Online movie rental company Netflix Inc. and NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution have expanded their license deal that covers TV shows subscribers can watch instantly by streaming them online, the companies said Friday.

Financial terms of the multiyear deal were not disclosed.

The agreement adds new TV shows that Netflix subscribers paying at least $9 a month will be able to stream instantly. The shows include episodes from each season of "Saturday Night Live," every episode from the last season of "30 Rock" and others.

Netflix is working to get more customers watch movies and TV shows online instead of ordering DVDs by mail to save on postage costs.
