Grains futures mixed, livestock prices mostly rise

[September 28, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery dropped 13.5 cents to $7.065 a bushel; December corn fell 9 cents to $5.1275 bushel; December oats shed 4 cents to $3.48 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery gained 2.5 cents to $11.285 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 1.18 cents to 99.30 cents a pound; November feeder cattle gained 0.67 cent to $1.0977 a pound; December lean hogs added 0.32 cent to 76.77 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.0850 a pound.
