Red Lions split

[April 04, 2011]  The Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University split a doubleheader with Robert Morris University on Saturday as they won the second game 11-9 after dropping the opener 15-2.

For the day, Andrew Scates led the way with four hits, three RBIs and one run; Josh Bennett had three hits, two RBIs and scored three runs; Richard Weese had three hits, one RBI and two runs; Seth Martin had two hits and one run; Nick Walters had two hits and two runs; and Jared Nassiff had a triple, three RBIs and two runs. Chris Lawson, Justin Walen and Andrew Wingo each added a hit.

LCU, now 2-12 for the season, will host St. Louis Christian College today (Monday) at 1 and 3 p.m.
