Grain futures, livestock prices trade mixed

[April 05, 2011]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery jumped 22.5 cents to $7.82 a bushel; May corn gained 18 cents to $7.54 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $3.75 a bushel; while May soybeans dropped 2.75 cents to $13.91 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged down 0.20 cent to $1.2105 a pound; May feeder cattle shed 0.15 cent to $1.3925 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.18 cent to $1.0375 a pound; while May pork bellies were unchanged at $1.1800 a pound.
