Lynx baseball falls 7-4 to Lindenwood University

[April 07, 2011]  ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- The Lynx lost for the second time in nine games as they fell to Lindenwood University 7-4 on Wednesday.

Starting pitcher Lucas Wright (Nokomis) was able to hold the Lions to only two runs in his five innings of work. However, the bullpen was unable to hold the Lions down, as they scored four runs in the home half of the sixth and took the lead for good.

Tyler Wallin (Elkhart, Ind.) went 2-3 with two doubles for the Lynx.

Lincoln (11-11, 7-1 MWAC) will play host to Spoon River Community College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
