[April 08, 2011]  The textile department of the Logan County Fair is sponsoring a spring craft show on Saturday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the American Legion in Lincoln. There will be a variety of handmade crafts and home show vendors. The Humane Society of Logan County will have a bake sale featuring lots of Easter treats. Mark your calendars and come check out the show. There will also be door prizes. Proceeds from this show are going to help with the expenses to build new display cases for the textile department at the Logan County Fair.

Logan County has a huge weekend of activities planned. So many that we decided to just direct you to our community calendar to pick out what and where you need to plan to attend this weekend.

As always, LDN will have pictures of many of the events in our Monday edition.

A reminder of the Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of Logan County annual banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of 2010: The tourism bureau will have their annual showcase event on Tuesday, April 12, at Rusty's Clubhouse, 2810 Woodlawn Road.
