![Click on photos below to enlarge.]

Saturday afternoon at the Jaycees' annual Easter egg hunt, kids by the dozens showed up to bag some loot. None were disappointed as the club divides them into age groups and tosses out a generous supply of colored plastic eggs between each run.

Three feet from the starting point there are already plenty of eggs to be gathered.

"I knew I should have brought a bigger basket!"

In addition to candy-filled eggs, several other "prizes" were tossed out as well.

When the Jaycee volunteers yell "Go," it's every man for himself in the quest for candy.

The swoop and scoop method is quite effective.

"Forget the little basket, I brought a bag!"

Grab what you can and keep movin'.

Everyone takes a last good look, hoping to see the one everyone else missed.
