[April 09, 2011]  Lincoln College has announced the schedule of events for its annual alumni reunion weekend. This year's reunion will take place April 14-17. A complete list of events and information on registration is available at http://www.lincolncollege.edu/alumni/reunion/ALUMNI2011.pdf.

All alumni and friends are encouraged to return for the reunion. Class years and decades will be recognized. One of the highlights of the weekend is the dinner and awards program on April 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. The classes of 1986, 1961, 1941 and 1936 will be recognized this year for their 25th, 50th, 70th and 75th anniversaries.

A special cluster reunion gathering is being planned for all 1975, 1976 and 1977 alumni. Many from those class years are already signed up to return this year. For more details on the cluster gathering, email Lcreunion76@yahoo.com.

Three alumni awards will be presented during the dinner and awards program. The Young Alumni Achievement Award will be presented to Lincoln's own David Doolin, Class of 2005, for his success in business and his leadership roles in preserving Lincoln's history. The Alumni Achievement Award in Fine Arts will be presented to Stephen Buntrock, Class of 1988, for his success in theater and performing arts. Buntrock is a Broadway star in New York and will spend time working with LC students and even performing some Broadway numbers at the college concert on April 15. A very special Alumni Award will be presented to longtime Lincoln resident Ms. LaVeta Baker Zurkammer, Class of 1936.
