Tickets available for partnership luncheon May 13 featuring Jason Plummer and Robert Plummer

[April 12, 2011]  "Together we can grow business in Logan County" is the theme of the second annual Lincoln & Logan County Development Partnership fundraising luncheon on May 13. The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Meyer-Evans Student Center at Lincoln College.

Jason Plummer, 2010 candidate for Illinois lieutenant governor, and Bob Plummer, president and CEO of R.P. Lumber, will be the keynote speakers.

Tickets for the luncheon are $20 per person and are available by calling 217-732-8739.

There are 23 sponsors for the luncheon, and the meal is underwritten by Comcast and Lincoln College.

The partnership is the economic development agency for Logan County. Its mission is: "Partners working together to enhance the economic prosperity and quality of life in Logan County."
