The fire was quickly extinguished with an extinguisher and a pump can. The fire did minimal damage, estimated to be around $1,000, to the outside of the structure.

A family of five lives in the home along with pets. Four members of the family were home when the fire was discovered. One of the children went outside and discovered the fire, then went back inside and alerted the other family members. They gathered the pets and all exited the house safely. No one was injured.
