Grain futures rise, livestock prices mostly up

[April 15, 2011]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 0.50 cent to $7.60 a bushel; May corn rose 11 cents to $7.6350 a bushel; May oats rose 2 cents to $3.93 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 16.25 cents to $13.46 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded up or flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.37 cent to $1.1597 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.40 cent to $1.3580 a pound; June lean hogs rose 1.90 cent to $1.0125 a pound; while May pork bellies were unchanged at $1.2450 a pound.
