Good food, friendship and helping a great cause all came together Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln American Legion post. The event was to help raise funds for the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight program. The program helps fly World War II vets to Washington, D.C., to see the memorial created in their honor. The trips are at no cost to the veterans.
