Cotillard, Gordon-Levitt join 'Dark Knight' cast

[April 20, 2011]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Marion Cotillard will serve on the board of Wayne Enterprises, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is joining the Gotham City police force in "The Dark Knight Rises."

Warner Bros. says the two actors have been added to the cast of the final chapter in the "Dark Knight" trilogy.

Director Christopher Nolan previously worked with Cotillard and Gordon-Levitt in "Inception."

Cotillard won an Oscar for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in 2007's "La Vie en Rose." Gordon-Levitt was nominated for a Golden Globe for his starring role in "(500) Days of Summer."

"The Dark Knight Rises" also stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy. The film is set for release on July 20, 2012.
