Grain futures, livestock prices trade mixed

[April 21, 2011]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery dipped 0.75 cent to $7.85 a bushel; May corn fell 16.25 cents to $7.3275 a bushel; May oats dropped 6.5 cents to $3.875 a bushel; while soybeans for May delivery added 15.75 cents to $13.5775 a bushel.

Beef and pork also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle shed 0.67 cent to $1.1650 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.25 cent to $1.3847 a pound; June lean hogs dropped 0.62 cent to $1.0140 a pound; while May pork bellies were unchanged at $1.2650 a pound.
