Railroad walked the culverts along Lincoln Parkway

Mario Vargas Llosa, Peru's Nobel Prize laureate in
literature, delivers a speech Thursday during a conference at the annual book fair
in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The LCHS bass fishing team went to the IHSA state
sectionals. This was their first tournament, and they fished on Sangchris Lake. Stephen Combs got
the big bass with a 3.05-pound fish. Team
1, with seniors Dillon Leslie and Trenton Crumpler, got 10th place,
and team 2, with sophomores Stephen Combs and Nathan Gunterman and
freshmen Braxton Shutt and Troy Rawlings, got
ninth place out of 18
teams. The boys had a great time. The two coaches are Chris Whiteman
and Jonathan Graber.
