Washington-Monroe spring musical program

Mrs. Kim Connor, music teacher at Washington-Monroe Elementary School, led her third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students in a musical spring program on Thursday night, entertaining families and friends with songs based on the theme "Possibilities -- A Celebration of Life."

Sixth-grade speakers gave short readings of good thoughts and reminders of the goodness in us, other people and in life. Readers from Miss Ewing's class were Briana Brown, Bryce Johnson, Josh Linares, Bradley Rahn, Haley Randsell and Tate Sloan. From Miss Gunning's class the readers were Titus Cannon, Adrianna Doolin, Blake Maas, Mackenzie Murphy, Shannon Rahn and Justin Woods.
