On Monday, one day before the
official opening of the Logan County Fair, judging was conducted for
4-H exhibitors from three categories -- 4-H Visual Arts; Non Original
Visual Arts; and Indoor, Flower & Herb Gardening, Miscellaneous,
Gardening & Crops. Over 25 entries were on display to receive the
judges' scrutiny in the latter category, also labeled Dept. W
projects.

counter during the Dept. W judging. Plants and plaques tell part of
the story for Monday's activity.
