Schonauer was a two-year starter at Lincoln College and helped the
teams to back-to-back national championships. Over his two-year
career, he led Lincoln College in 3-point field goals made and
3-point field goal percentage, while averaging eight per game in
2010 and nine per game in 2011. He hit the winner 3-point shot with
16 seconds left in the Region 24 title game to move the team on to
the NJCAA national tournament, where Lincoln won four straight games
by an average of 16 points. Schonauer was awarded the
Sportsmanship Award two years in a row at the national tournament --
something that has never been done before. He was an academic
all-American and all-conference for the 2010-2011 season.
"I am so proud of what Louie as able to accomplish in his two
years at Lincoln College, said Kirk Whiteman, head coach. "Not only
what he was able to accomplish on the basketball floor, but in the
classroom. He always carried close to a 4.0 GPA, while working hard
in the gym to improve his total game.

the road -- a full-ride scholarship at an outstanding academic
school, where I am sure he will continue his success."
