4-H Calf Scramble

The calf scramble is always the event of the evening. Youngsters have an opportunity to rope a calf to raise for a year and then bring it back for judging the next year. As you can see in the first picture, the calves come back a thousand pounds heavier in just one year. Logan County 4-H is one of the few organizations that still can have calf scrambles, and it is only through the generosity of sponsors that it does.
