Tami Huskins

[August 03, 2011]  LINCOLN -- A memorial service for Tami L. Huskins will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Lincoln Church of God, 601 Pulaski St., with the Rev. Jacob Skelton officiating.

Mrs. Huskins, 49, of Lincoln, died July 6, 2011, at 12:35 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Tami was born Dec. 6, 1961, in Lincoln. Her parents were Wilford and Beverly Ealy Merreighn. She married Ronnie Huskins in 1980 in Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mark Huskins (and Megan Malerich) of Lincoln and Matthew (and Heidi) Huskins of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Austin, Haley, Kade Noble James, Kambria Lynn Lorraine and Morgan Michael Huskins; her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Jerry Gaddy of Lincoln; a special uncle, Ron (and Sharon) Ealy; one brother, Bobby Merreighn (and Janice Stewart) of Lincoln; three half brothers, Scott Gaddy of Maroa, Todd Gaddy of Lincoln and Shawn Gaddy of San Jose; two half sisters, Norma (and Bill) Langley of Mount Zion and Cheryl (and Chuck) Feese of Springfield; her caregiver, Pat Mann, who treated her like a daughter, and Shelley Hanson and Patty Meredith, who treated her like a sister; and several nieces and nephews.

Tami was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Billy Merreighn; one sister, Cherie Merreighn; and a half brother, Donnie Merreighn.
