[August 11, 2011]  NEW YORK (AP) -- The Cirque du Soleil (sihrk doo soh-LAY') show "Zarkana" will magically be returning to New York City next summer.

Producers said Wednesday that the $50 million circus show, which debuted in June at Radio City Music Hall, will end its run in the city on Oct. 8 and then move to Madrid and Moscow for the fall and winter. It will return to New York in the summer of 2012.

"Zarkana," a 12-act, 75-performer "acrobatic rock opera" written and directed by Francois Girard, has been seen by an estimated 300,000 people since it opened. It stars Canadian singers Garou and Cassiopee.
