City Hall hosts art show, open house

Meghann Kindred is a senior at Olympia High School this year. She displayed several pieces of her work, including this study in monochromatic color.

This stirring piece by Jason Hoffman depicts the decision to end suffering.

 

Michelle Schneider of Minier is a watercolor illustrator. She works with mixed media, using watercolor and torn paper in many of her works.

The string trio playing in the foyer of the second floor was from the Lincoln Area Music Society. Left to right are Amy Gibson, Tamera Welter and Bob Kurka.

 

Ed and Ronda Malkowski and Samantha of the Owl's Roost catered the event, offering Italian beef sandwiches, fruits and a variety of sweets.

Even in 1915, ordinance violators posed a problem for city officials, as this record shows.

 

 

In addition to fine art, visitors were able to see several historical pieces from the Lincoln Fire Department.

City treasurer Chuck Conzo studies the pictorial history wall in the upper hallway of the Lincoln Fire Department.
