Bridge construction near Middletown to begin soon

[August 12, 2011]  A road southeast of Middletown will be closed soon to replace a bridge. The project is on 350th Avenue, one mile south and three miles east of Middletown. Construction is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks and is expected to take two months to complete. During this time, the roadway will be completely closed to traffic. The exact starting date has not been determined.

This bridge needs to be replaced due to the deteriorated condition. The project was awarded to Otto Baum Co., Morton. The construction cost is approximately $171,660.50.
