Bridge construction near Burton View to begin soon

[August 12, 2011]  North of Burton View, County Highway 22 will be reduced to a single lane at the bridge that spans Sugar Creek. The project is two miles beyond Burton View on 600th Avenue. Construction is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks and is expected to take three weeks to complete. The exact starting date has not been determined.

InsuranceThis bridge needs to be repainted to protect the steel and extend the service life of the structure. The project was awarded to Eagle Painting and Maintenance, Lansing. The construction cost is approximately $147,500. Logan County is using local county bridge funds to complete this construction.
