[August 17, 2011]  ORLANDO, Florida (AP) -- Officials say eight people have been injured by a lightning strike at SeaWorld's Discovery Cove water park in Orlando.

SeaWorld spokesman Nick Gollattscheck says none of Tuesday afternoon's injuries were life-threatening. He says three guests and five employees were hurt but none were hit directly by lightning.

Gollattscheck says the guests and two of the employees were taken to a local hospital as a precaution. The other three workers were taken to a local urgent care facility. All were conscious and alert.

Late Tuesday night, the two hospitalized employees were still being evaluated. Everyone else had been released.
