[August 25, 2011]  LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) -- A new report by Human Rights Watch says Nigeria's anti-corruption agency is unable to challenge corrupt politicians who cling to power in the oil-rich nation

HardwareThe report released Thursday says the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has only garnered four convictions against Nigeria's political elite since its creation in 2003, with those found guilty facing little or no prison time.

Human Rights Watch says strengthening the commission and its fellow agencies remains the only way to fight graft in Africa's most populous nation.
