LC men's soccer results

[August 29, 2011]  In their first game of the season, the Lincoln College men's soccer team started off on a good note, defeating a Region 24 opponent 8-0 at home on Sunday. 

Lincoln opened the scoring 40 seconds into the match when midfielder Edwin Moalosi (Botswana) played a cross into freshman forward Chukwuka Iwe (St. Park, Minn.).

Chuckwuka would repay the favor less than a minute later when he beat the back line and slotted Edwin across the goal for an easy tap-in.

Lincoln would go on to end the half leading with a score of 3-0. The second half was all Lincoln again, with the Lynx putting five more goals on the scoreboard.

The Lynx are currently 1-0 overall and 1-0 in Region 24 play.
 
Next game is at Parkland College versus North Iowa, ranked 15th in the nation, as Lincoln plays in the Parkland College Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament.
