Lincoln College women's golf

[August 30, 2011]  INA -- The Lincoln College women's golf team opened their fall season by placing second with a team total of 379 in the Rend Lake Fall Shootout.

Katie Frye (Springfield) finished in fifth place with a 90. Kendra Butler (Bloomington) and Ellen Turner (Odell) both shot a 94 to tie for sixth. Kylie Ash (Lincoln) shot a 101 and Katie Novosad (Wheaton) had a 118.

Rend Lake won the event with a team total of 328, and Hannah Gill of Rend Lake took medalist honors with a 75.
