[December 05, 2011]  Lincoln College women's basketball hosted the Lynx Classic and came away with a split of their games.

On Friday night they fell to Sauk Valley 76-47 with Jasmine Shipp scoring 17 points to lead the Lynx in scoring.

Saturday afternoon the Lynx went on a run in the last two minutes of the first half to take a 39-35 lead into the locker room at the half. They maintained their lead in the second half to post an 81-73 win over Carl Sandburg.

Leading the balanced scoring attack was Ally Friday with 19, followed by Meghan Moore with 14, Shay Jackson with 13, Jennifer Jorman with 12 and Jazmin Little with 10. Jorman also had six assists, while Friday had eight boards and six steals.
