LCU
loses to national champions GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Lincoln
Christian University men's basketball team finished the weekend in
Grand Rapids by losing two tough games to Northland International
University and Grace Bible College on Friday and Saturday.
Austin Keys led NIU to an 85-81 victory over LCU on Friday.
Senior Mark Hamm led LCU with 17 points. Brady Cremeens shot 50
percent from the 3-point line and helped the Red Lions out with 16
points. Arguably the difference of the game came from the free-throw
line, where the Red Lions cashed in on 59 percent of their attempts.
LCU then played the defending national champions, Grace Bible
College, and lost 82-66. Cremeens led LCU by putting up an
impressive 22 points from a team that looks to shut down their
opponents defensively. Hamm continued his great run by adding 19
points, while senior Mac Ingmire recorded nine assists.
The Red Lions knew beforehand that these two games were going to
be two of the toughest on their schedule. They look to build on
these games as they face NCAA Division III Eureka College at 7 p.m.
Wednesday in Lincoln.
Maranatha has LCU's number

she put up 22 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Moriah Kirkpatrick
was a key player on the boards, as she recorded 14 rebounds. Give
credit to Maranatha as they distributed the ball evenly, with 11 of
13 players putting points on the board.
LCU (1-4) will be back in action Wednesday, when they host NCAA
Division III Eureka College at 5 p.m. in the Laughlin Center.
