The seventh-graders won by a score of 37-2. Tori
Tripplett led ZLS with 14 points. Also scoring for Zion were Katie Hunsley
with nine, Mya Roberts with six, Gabi Cox with four, Lauren Canady
with two and Lane Prather with two. Bloomington's only basket came in
the second quarter.
The Lady Eagles won the eighth-grade game 45-12. Hailie Williams was the leading scorer with 13 points, including
three 3s in the first quarter, followed by Lexie Groves with 12. Danielle Burgrabe
and Anna Sielaff added six each. Brooklyn Hermes, Kalyn
Roberts, Rachel Podbelsek and Anna Walters had two each. Bloomington scored
four points in the first half and eight in the
second half.
