Accidents
Dec. 9-10
On Dec. 9, a vehicle owned by Steven W. Uhlry was allegedly stolen and involved in a series of hit-and-run accidents. The exact times of some of the incidents are not documented but were reported to police as follows:

Dec. 10, 5:15 a.m.
Location: 2300 block of North Kickapoo Street
- Fletcher, Christopher A., 23; 2008 Pontiac Grand Am, parked, unoccupied
Dec. 10, 6:10 a.m.
600 block of Peoria Street
- Clark, Jennifer S., 29; 2000 Toyota Corolla, parked, unoccupied.
The 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Uhlry was later abandoned and recovered by police. The driver of the vehicle is unknown at this time.
