The sixth- and seventh-grade band has enough experience to play together easily. Directorr Loseke referred to them as "a well-balanced group."

"Jingle Bell Rock" opened the junior high choir's presentation on Sunday, followed by "Hope Is a Hidden Star," "Here Comes Santa Claus" and "'Tis the Season Once Again."

A traditional Spanish carol, "A La Nanita Nana," and "Sleigh Ride" were performed by the Hartem High School choir. Rachel Jordan is the vocal director.

The Hartem High School band is small but includes a variety of instruments that can make a "joyful sound."

A traditional Christmas song, "Greensleeves," was first on the list for the high school band, followed by "Celtic Bell Carol" and "Jingle Bell Rock."
