Winn-Dixie, Jakks, Children's Place are big movers

[December 20, 2011]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Monday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Eldorado Gold Corp., down $2.04 at $12.94

The gold and iron producer said it will buy European Goldfields in a $2.4 billion deal, increasing its ability to produce gold.

Winn-Dixie Stores Inc., up $3.81 at $9.24

The supermarket chain is being sold in a $560 million deal to rival Bi-Lo LLC., creating a large grocery operator in the South.

Jakks Pacific Inc., down $3.50 at $13.85

The toymaker posted earnings outlook for the year that was significantly lower that what the company had previously predicted.

The Children's Place Retail Stores, down $2.90 at $52.75

A Sterne Agee analyst downgraded the retailer saying that the unseasonably warm weather may hurt sales of cold weather items.

United Natural Foods Inc., up 11 cents at $38.24

A Canaccord analyst upgraded the organic food distributor to "Buy," citing the company's internal growth and improving margins.

Vistaprint N.V., down $2.53 at $30.21

The seller of business cards and other products will buy Webs Inc., which offers do-it-yourself websites, for $117.5 million.

MakeMyTrip Ltd., up 18 cents at $24.04

Collins Stewart initiated coverage of the Indian travel website with a "Buy" rating, citing growth in India's tourism industry.

Buffalo Wild Wings Inc., up $2.55 at $64.43

A Wedbush analyst reiterated his "Outperform" rating on the restaurant operator saying that same store sales may be higher than expected.
