 A defense filing on
Friday with the Federal District Court in
Chicago said that if the forewoman, Connie Wilson, were found to
have violated court rules, that "must result in a new trial."
Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years on 18 counts. He is to report
to prison in March.
His lawyers said Ms. Wilson discussed the retrial in public
appearances this year and appeared to have violated a court order by
using a questionnaire from the retrial in at least one public
presentation.
Wilson did not respond to a message seeking comment.
