Advent/ Christmas Service Themes Love Languages of Christmas December 24th – to be announced December 25th – The Christmas Love Language of Gift Giving During the season of Advent we will explore the 5 Love Languages of Christmas. This series is based on the best selling, 5 Love Language, books written by Gary Chapman. I encourage you to visit www.5lovelanguages.com/assessments to determine which love language you speak. It will go a long way in helping you understand yourself and those around you. S.S. Children’s Christmas Program – Sunday, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – Saturday, December 24 – 7:00 p.m. Christmas Day Worship – Sunday, December 25 – 10:00 a.m.
ST. JOHN UNITED CHURCH of CHRIST CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS DECEMBER 24 – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 11:00 p.m. Pre-service music by Adult Chime Choir. Service will feature Lessons and Carols and Handbell Choir. Holy Communion will also be observed – (UCC practices open communion) and at midnight worshippers individual candles will be lit. DECEMBER 25 – CHRISTMAS DAY worship at 10:30. Laura Lee, organist will offer special music beginning at 10;15. Lincoln Christian Church, 204 N. McLean St. in downtown Lincoln Christmas Eve Candle Light Services Saturday, December 24 at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. in their Sanctuary. You will be reminded and refreshed as we remember the true reason for this Christmas season with this intimate service.
