David Upchurch joins LCU advancement team

[December 22, 2011]  Lincoln Christian University introduces David Upchurch as the university's new director of church ministries, effective Jan. 1.

As director of church ministries, Upchurch brings with him more than 30 years of experience in local church leadership and will be a valuable resource to churches seeking help from Lincoln Christian University. For the last 13 years he has been lead minister of Rochester Christian Church in Rochester.

Upchurch is an alumnus of Lincoln Christian University (B.A., '80) and Kentucky Christian University (Master of Ministry).

Established in Lincoln in 1944, Lincoln Christian University gives its students the skills, knowledge and biblical worldview to live their missions in the church, the workplace and the world. LCU offers lifelong learning opportunities through traditional undergraduate degree programs, adult and graduate degree programs for busy adults, and through the Seminary for ministry professionals.

LCU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission: A Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Association for Biblical Higher Education. The Seminary is also accredited by the Association of Theological Schools.
