The
burned-out apartment building in the 1000 block of Delavan
Street is coming down after only a couple of months. The fire that
broke out on the night of Oct. 14 destroyed the building
and displaced those who were living there. This week, crews
began tearing down the dangerous eyesore.

Christian Van Hook of the Railers takes an alley-oop
and slams it through last night at the Schnucks Holiday Classic
in Collinsville. Unfortunately there wasn't enough scoring by the
Railers, as they lost to Belleville East by a score of 59-37. The
Railers begin consolation-round play today, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
against Dunlap.
