[December 29, 2011]  It's almost the end of another year, and that means it is time to take a look back at all we covered this year. That includes trying to determine which pictures this year were the most intriguing, interesting or memorable.

The task isn't easy, as over the year LDN has posted some 14,000 pictures in our editions.
