Notto Technologies and Consulting had their ribbon-cut yesterday. The business at 503 Woodlawn is owned and operated by Eric and Sara Notto.

Jackson the cat, the official LDN groundhog, has advised us not to bother her today, tomorrow or anytime in the near future. With weather reports of a possible storm of the century hitting the area today and tomorrow, Jackson has decided to just stay under her blanket and sleep till spring.

The Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran Crusaders sixth grade placed first in a western Illinois tournament. Lukas Aylesworth led the way with a tournament total of 38 points, Joshua Jackson and Caleb Meador had 10 each, Noah Funk added nine, and Mitchell Hagenbuch and Austin Krueger provided eight each.

Zion went 3-0, defeating Westfair, Beardstown Christian and Salem Lutheran. The Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran Crusaders have a record of 15-4.
