The blizzard leaves area buried in snow

It could have been worse, but it certainly could have been much better. Heavy snows with blizzard conditions impacted the area last night. Many roads are still drifted over, and Wednesday will be a long day of trying to get road and street conditions back to safe standards.

Like an alien landscape, snowdrifts abound throughout the area.

 

Through the screen and onto the ledge. The snow shows the swirling effects of last night's winds.



 

The wind can sculpt like an artist.

The heavier snowflakes stick to everything

 

It's easy to track where someone has walked this morning.

It will take awhile to dig this car out of a drift.
