A ngels
Among
Us: 15-year-old having fun helping others.
Wednesday afternoon, instead of spending his day off from school
as a couch potato, 15-year-old Hank Freed decided to go out and
have some fun while helping others. He and his dad (who didn’t
want his name mentioned) spent much of the afternoon cruising
around looking for folks who needed a hand plowing out their
driveways. When asked how much money they needed, they said they
were doing this just for fun and were glad it had snowed
so they could test out their new John Deere Gator.

Crew members aboard the U.S.
Coast Guard cutter Morro Bay, a 140-foot
ice- breaking tug, prepare to pull
alongside the Canadian Coast Guard ship
Samuel Risley to transfer a rescued
snowmobiler on Wednesday.
Jim Turton of Colchester of Ontario,
Canada, floated for about nine hours
before being rescued. Officials say Turton was one of four snowmobilers who
fell through ice near Colchester around
11:25 p.m. Tuesday. The others climbed
onto ice connected to shore. Following
the rescue, Turton was transferred to a
Canadian Coast Guard ship.
