[February 09, 2011]  Lincolnite Mike Fak will entertain seniors on March 1 as part of the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois Senior Nutrition program at Logan Court.

Fak is an editor, author and civic speaker in Logan County. A humor writer for over four decades, he likes to take the zany and strange things that happen to all of us and turn them into tales of humor or satire. His stand-up comedy routines are suitable for audiences of all ages, and he currently has several events booked for this spring. Mike's routine, "I'm old, I'm crabby, but it’s not my fault," deals with many of the nonsensical things in this world that everyone can relate to and be crabby about -- with a laugh added in.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the comedy show will begin at 12:15 p.m. at Logan Court, 1028 N. College in Lincoln. Lunch will include chicken tenders, baked beans, corn muffins, coleslaw and plums. Lunch is available to

any senior ages 60 and up, with a suggested donation of $3. No individual will be denied if unable to make the suggested donation.

To reserve a spot, please contact Mike Kodatt at 217-732-2159, ext. 240, by Feb. 24.
