NOTICE TO THE ELDERLY AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITES
FOR THE APRIL 5TH, 2011 CONSOLIDATED ELECTION


Citizens who are not registered to vote and cannot leave their home or
nursing home because of permanent disability, may arrange for voter
registration by contacting the office of the Logan County Clerk. Upon
request, a list of Deputy Registrars will be given to any person unable to come in to the office of the County Clerk for registration.

Any qualified registrant may register to vote at the office of the Logan County Clerk located in Room #20 of the Logan County Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Two forms of identification are required to register; one must have your current address. The last day to register to vote for the Consolidated Election is Tuesday, March 8, 2011 (with the exception of grace period registration and transfer of registration beginning March 9, 2011 and ending March 29, 2011 in the office of the Logan County Clerk).

All polling places in Logan County are accessible to persons with disabilities. Voting aids and assistance in marking the ballot is available if needed. If you are physically unable to vote at your polling place on Election Day, you may vote in person absentee in the office of the Logan County Clerk, or absentee by mail. The last day an absentee ballot can be mailed from the office of the County Clerk is Thursday, March 31, 2011. The last day to vote in person absentee in the office of the Logan County Clerk is Monday, April 4, 2011.
