Central School recites Abe's farewell speech -- Album 1

Central School participated in the attempt to gain a world record yesterday morning. Students, faculty, administrators and parents, totaling 311, recited Lincoln's farewell speech at the same time the re-enactment was occurring at the Great Western Railroad Depot in Springfield.

The school starts with the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

The younger grades sported Abe beards for the occasion.
